November, 2010 - SCREEN USA NAMES MASTER VISIONIST JASON SCHWIND AS CREATIVE DIRECTOR

SCREEN USA NAMES MASTER VISIONIST JASON SCHWIND AS CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Tampa, FL - November 2010- Screen USA, the importer of the finest Italian professional beauty products, has appointed industry veteran and master visionist Jason Schwind as creative director. Schwind, whose experience in six cities and two countries includes 18 years as a high-profile educator and platform artist, says his first goal is to develop a multi-tiered curriculum and training system that will make education exciting and accessible to stylists at all levels. In January, he will train the new Screen USA team of educators, allowing complete continuity, as they travel and teach across the country. The company is pioneering micro-distribution in order to help entrepreneurial salespeople support salons with the one-on-one help they demand.

Combining classic European training with barbering skills and progressive, salon-centric concepts, Schwind is a sought-after educator and artist who has styled hair backstage at events like the Radio Music Awards and Lollapalooza, and worked with top names as diverse as Molly Sims and Dave Navarro. While he has also styled behind the scenes for numerous print ads, TV and film, he says that his salon connection remains the most important one because, "It's clients' ideas and challenges that inspire my vision the most."

As the current artistic director of Studio: a Collective of Stylists in Denver, Schwind leads monthly classes and presents quarterly trend statements. His educational approach is twofold: Every stylist needs to perfect both cutting and coloring skills to be truly successful in today's salons, and his education provides new ways to easily combine and customize the two. Additionally, he has a solid reputation for developing layered educational programs in which foundational techniques build on one another, allowing the stylist confidence and creativity. He brings that approach to Screen USA.

"I believe in giving value well beyond product use," says Schwind. "Salons need real-life-approach ideas for growing their business and their teams."

Schwind's first collection for Screen USA will be Organic Geometry, which taps a common thread among global trends and allows stylists to reinterpret it for the individual client in the chair.

Screen USA's principals and managing partners are Andrea and John Bogan and Yves Henrichon. Candidates interested in the Micro-Distributor concept are invited to contact Sandy Mangione, principal at iBeauty, LLC, who is managing Micro-Distributor recruiting and training for Screen USA, at sandy@screenhaircare.com or 215-275-0952. Jagged Peak's TotalCommerce™ Solution Creates Competitive Edge for Independent European Salon Product Line

Thursday, May 6th, 2010 - TAMPA, FLORIDA - Jagged Peak Inc. announced today it has added Screen USA LLC, a master distributor for Screen®, an Italian based producer of Hair Care products. In this agreement, Jagged Peak will provide Screen USA with a turnkey eCommerce solution which will encompass development of a business-to- business Website, implementation of its EDGE Commerce Order Management Solution, and warehousing and Order Fulfillment services. Jagged Peak Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Vince Fabrizzi explains, "Screen USA is a "liquid to chemicals" distributor, providing a full-line of artisan-quality hair care products that are shipped from Italy and sold direct to salons throughout the United States. Critical to their success is control and management of their entire supply chain Ð from the time products are shipped from Italy to the time they are received at our warehouse to the time products are delivered to Screen's Hair Salon customers. Navigating this complex process efficiently is why Screen hired Jagged Peak."

Andrea Bogdan, Screen USA managing partner says, "We needed a sophisticated solution that would allow us to focus solely on product marketing and client services. Salon-quality hair care is a highly competitive market now dominated by large, brand-name companies. Industry consolidation requires independent companies like Screen to give each of its end-users, the salon professional, intense personal attention and product training, leaving little time to worry about shipping and distribution issues."

Screen®, established in 1992, is found in 17 countries. It markets a full line of styling, finishing, and reconstructive products for professional and retail use. The line contains no harmful propellants and is not tested on animals. Created exclusively for hairstylists, Screen uses the highest quality ingredients, combined with a commitment to research and development, to produce a product line exemplifying the exacting standards of Italian-made items.

Screen USA launches its Website this spring with product expect on the shelves by mid June, Bogdan says. Screen USA is owned in partnership by Andrea Bogdan, John Bogdan, and Yves Henrichon. The Jagged Peak agreement includes a full-creation of its B2B Website, the EDGE OMS, and Order Fulfillment services.
Jagged Peak provides end-to-end eCommerce and supply chain optimization solutions to both online and offline companies.
